Roku Wireless Setup

Once the Roku player is turned on you get a Welcome screen


Press select to start

Select the connection method as wireless

It scans for the available networks

Select your wireless Network

Enter your wireless passphrase and select done

If the player is connected to the network all dot turns green

If a software update is available the player update itself automatically

After a software update it need to be rebooted. select ok to reboot it.

Again it starts with the welcome screen. Follow the same steps again.

Once its connected to the internet, it Generates a code to activate the contents. For example if you want to update netflix it generates a code. You need to enter the cod in netflix website and then the player gets activated.

Blackberry wireless Setup

Go to Manage Connection

Turn on Wi-fi

Select setup wi-fi network

Select Scan for Networks.

Shows the list of available Networks

If the Network is secured, it prompts for the security key.

If the connection is successfull it asks you to save the network under a profile Name.

Select Next and Select finish to complete the setup.

iphone/ipod/itouch wireless setup

Select Settings

Select Wi-Fi

Select the Wireless Network

Select Security

Type the wireless passphrase and select join

If the network is connected you find a check mark next to the name.

Nintendo wii wireless Setup

Go the Wii Menu

Select Wii settings

Select Internet

Go to connection settings

Select an Empty connection

Select Wireless Connection

Go to Manual Setup

Enter Network Name(ssid) and select Save

Select ip settings to automatic

Select DNS settings to automatic

Dont change the MTU size

Save the settings

Select OK to test the connection.

PS3 wireless setup

From the Main Menu select Network Settings

Select Internet connection settings

You get a warning message, select yes.

Select the Connection method as wireless

























Select the settings method to Easy

Under wlan settings select scan


























It find the list of available wireless networks.

Select your ssid

select the wlan security settings

Enter the wireless passphrase

Save the settings

Test the connection

Finally shows the connection status

x-box wireless setup

Select the System Settings from the main menu.

Under System Settings , select Network Settings.

Select Configure Network

Under Basic settings select wireless.
Note: If you dont have the option for wireless, then the x-box does not support wireless.

Scan for the Wireless Networks

Select the Wireless Network from the list

Type the Wireless security key or passphrase

Keep the ip address and dns settings as automatic

 Test X-box Live connection

Once the test is completed the x-box live status shows whether its connected to the internet or not.
